We built Reesk because we lived the problem
Years working inside risk and compliance functions. The same frustrations, the same broken tools, the same spreadsheets. We decided to build the platform we wished we had.

Reesk is built from Pideeco, the Brussels-based organization behind us, and from years of hands-on work in regulatory advisory and operational risk for financial institutions. That experience — prudential expectations, how compliance actually runs in the business, and what regulators care about in practice — is woven into how we designed risk spaces, controls, and testing workflows, not bolted on as marketing language.
The problem we kept running into
Risk management software has a reputation problem — and honestly, it's earned. The legacy platforms are expensive, slow to implement, and built for a compliance box-ticking exercise, not for people who actually think about risk for a living.
The alternative — spreadsheets and slide decks — works until it doesn't. And when it stops working, it usually stops in a very visible, very uncomfortable way.
Growing organizations — those with 10 to 5,000 employees navigating real regulatory pressure — deserve better than that binary choice. They deserve tools built the way modern software is built: fast, collaborative, thoughtfully designed, and actually affordable.
Why now
The convergence of modern web infrastructure and accessible technology means that what used to require a €300k implementation project can now be shipped in weeks and used from day one. We are not building the next version of the old category. We are rebuilding from first principles.
Three Lines of Defense is not a label we stuck on a feature. It is the architectural foundation of how risk spaces, roles, and testing workflows are organized in Reesk. AI assistance is not a chatbot bolted on. It surfaces exactly where you are staring at a blank field wondering what to write.
The team
A small, multidisciplinary team where regulatory expertise, engineering and product design sit at the same table — every day, on every decision.
Risk & Compliance
Practitioners who have run risk programs and advised regulated institutions. Every workflow is shaped by people who actually know what supervisors look for.
Engineering
Senior engineers obsessed with reliability, security, and performance — building Reesk with the same standards expected from production-grade financial software.
Product & Design
Every screen is reviewed with control owners, 2LoD reviewers and internal auditors — so the product feels obvious to the people who actually use it.
Customer Success
A team that picks up the phone. We onboard, train and partner with every customer — because risk management deserves more than a ticketing system.
Risk, product and engineering meet weekly on every roadmap item — no feature ships without a domain expert in the room.
Most of what we build comes from a recurring customer pain point. We publish what we ship and what we learned.
We stay deliberately compact. Decisions happen quickly, feedback turns into shipped code within days, not quarters.
What we stand for
Reesk is built on three convictions that shape every product decision we make.
Practitioners first
Built by people who have sat in risk committees and audit meetings. Every feature earns its place by solving a real problem.
Honest pricing
No implementation fees. No surprise seat costs. A free plan that is actually useful, not a crippled demo. Paid plans that grow with you.
Speed matters
You should be able to set up a risk space, invite your team, and run your first assessment on the same day. Not after a six-week implementation project.
We'd love to show you what it can do
Whether you are evaluating for your compliance team, exploring as an early adopter or looking for an enterprise-grade solution, there’s a place to start.
